I am not quite sure about US elections, but this video has definitely caused some dissonance between Dimitrov's game and final results lol. C'mon guys, don't bring politics here...

The funniest part of the highlights is that Dimitrov works hard as hell to finish each point well, earn his points, and taking the lead. And in the next segment we see Medvedev, like jumping 5 games ahead😂

Simple and true answer to all of the comments 'why there are way more Dimitrov highlight' :

Because Dimitrov made 85 % percent of the creative shots in this game. He was building the points and Daniil was defending and returning the ball back. How would the highlights look with mistake after mistake from Dimitrov (because actually Medvedev's points were patiently expected mistakes coming from Dimitrov).
Of course this does not excuse Grigor who was inconsistent in the important moments.

Судя по видео Димитров выиграл все розыгрыши, но проиграл матч.

Dimitrov the better player but Medvedev the better tactician.

@Sidhanth Mishra Well, then, there's nothing to argue about. What you just said describes a better player. He just hits the ball statistically better than most. Which put him on the 4th position. That's it.

@Алекс Гржим Define "better" player. Than whom? When I said he is a monster I'm not referring to him as superhuman but he just does not miss and can adapt with offense and defense, plus he has weapons, reach and touch. Yes, he is exceptionally good and has strength plus stamina to be so consistent . I said earlier he does not miss and has weapons. That's it.

@Sidhanth Mishra Yeah, yeah... A monster. That explains it all. )) Perhaps he's just an overall better player, eh?

He is a wall or pong. He doesn't miss and has weapons. Deadly combination plus the guy is a monster. Wolf like, lean, rangy but incredible stamina and strength.

for the people who keeps commenting why is there only Dimitrov highlights, wtf u talking about? look at the first 5 points in this vid, Grigor lost all of them lol. Also, highlights mean good points and good shots, dimitrov had a lot in this match, but he also hit a lot of errors thats why Daniil won this match.

A pure demonstration of consistency from medvedev vs skills from dimitrov. Dimitrov has very good footwork and timing with his shots, but his reliance to hit everything perfect is his biggest downfall, you can see if he doesn’t plant his foot in time or if his doesn’t have a perfect swing motion then he makes unforced errors. Medvedev is the total opposite, very sloppy foot work but with big top spin he just need to get the ball over

heartli1 most points won by medvedev were because of unforced errors from dimitrov, and that’s not worth showing in highlights. So this video is very fair

dimitrov just plays a much more flashy style of tennis than medvedev. most of med's won points are off errors from dimitrov. not saying he's a bad player, he's clearly great, but he's not very entertaining

You don't know tennis kid, go home. Just because Fed beat him in a previous meeting doesn't mean he'll do that every fucking time! Had that been true, you would also have to consider Hewitt as much better than Fed as he had a 7:1 record against him at some point.

Then we will talk as there is no point in basically talking the thing about matchup as you guys belong to category of people who do mathematics with tennis’s like A beats B , B beats C so A beats C. In fact most of people on you tube comments are like that who just don’t understand tennis. Do you even understand how and why medvedev lost to fed. I am pretty sure you don’t . Yeah and before posting some stupid reply just at least watch highlight and tell me the answer of my question. And if you really aren’t some nube then you will understand why he can’t win against federer right now.

@Al Truism Imo, Daniil is way more interesting than Novak. He has more art in his shot-making, his serve is a bomb, he's not shit at overheads, plays lots of drop shots/slices, comes in to the net very often, plays all court tennis. Every point is different.
Novak's points are all the same. Stay at the baseline 100% of the time, hit the ball deep with no angle consistently. If the opponent drops it short, go forward for an easy winner. If the opponent doesn't budge, hit a drop shot. If that fails then all hell breaks loose. That's why people call him boring/robot. He's like a programmed algorithm. The only time he's interesting to watch is when his opponents are good enough to make him make desperate defensive shots. i.e Nadal, Wawrinka, Federer etc.

It is only me or some one else put an attention, that in those "highlights" 90% of shown points are points , won by Dimitrov. And not simply won, but "in style", with confidence and big class superiority... The only question that remains is - then how did it happend that Medvedev have won the match...And not simply won, but 3:0. That means in this footage Dimitrov is toatally dominating the game. In reality he lost 0:3...

I thought exactly the same, but Dimitrov made many unforced errors (well, it’s uncomfortable to play Medvedev, that’s what they say) that are not interesting for a highlights video. Dimitrov has way more potential too.

I can only assume...that Medvedev won by pushing and waiting for the errors, which were not shown.

Medvedev is a monster of holding and taking the breakpoint, and it's the time to ask would you rather win or "win in style" ((respect

The score board made a mistake for a while after the shot at 17:28, it was Medvedev's point.
They did correct it very soon though.
